Parliament holds regular session

Baghdad (AIN) –The Iraqi Parliament held its regular session at 12:00 BLT to vote on and read some law drafts for the first and second times.

Parliamentary source reported to AIN Thursday “The agenda of the session includes voting on the candidates for the Cassation Court membership, but it would not include voting on withdrawing confidence from the Mayor of Baghdad Sabir al-Esawi as it was expected.”

“The session was scheduled to be held at 10:00 BLT but it was delayed for two hours due to lack of quorum,” the source added. /End/
