Baghdad (AIN) –Two policemen were injured when three Improvised Explosive Devices exploded in western Baghdad on Thursday.

Security source stated to AIN "An Improvised Explosive Device exploded targeting a convoy of a security company without casualties in Harthiya area of western Baghdad."

"When the expert of the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Department arrived at the explosion area two other IEDs exploded simultaneously, injuring two IPs and causing material damages to the nearby buildings," the source added.

"A security force cordoned the explosion area, transferring the injured to the hospital for treatment," the source concluded. /End/
