Baghdad (AIN) –The first Deputy Speaker, Qusay al-Sihiel, and the Swedish Ambassador in Baghdad discussed the means of developing bilateral relations between the two countries."

A statement by Sihiel's office received by All Iraq News Agency (AIN) cited "Sihiel received the Swedish Ambassador in Baghdad and they discussed the means of upgrading cooperation in all levels."

"Sihiel stressed that Iraq is very interested in developing its relations with the European countries especially Sweden," the statement added.

"Sihiel called the Swedish companies to invest in Iraq which becomes a great place for wide investments," the statement mentioned.

"Sihiel renewed his call to the European countries to help in relieving Iraq from the 7th Chapter of the UN's Charter," the statement concluded. /End/
