Baghdad (AIN) -The parliament decided to hold another session to host the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy, Hussein al-Shahristani and the Electricity Minister, Karim Aftan, as well as the Undersecretaries of the Defense and Interior Ministries.
Shahristani did not meet the summon request by the parliament and was absent at the session of Saturday.
Informed source at the parliament said "The parliament decided to hold another session to host Shahristani and Aftan in addition to the Interior and Defense Ministries' Undersecretaries to discuss with them the electricity and security situation."
The parliament held its regular session today to read and vote on a number of law drafts as well as hosting Shahristani and Aftan to discuss the electricity situation in Iraq. /End/
