Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Shakir l-Daraji, of the State of Law Coalition announced that the primary investigations with the guards of the Finance Minister, Rafi al-Esawi, did not show Esawi's involvement in criminal actions.
Speaking to All Iraq News Agency (AIN), he stated "The primary investigations did not refer to Esawi's involvement in criminal actions," noting that "Only the judicial sides are authorized to reveal the involved officials in criminal issues."
"There is a connection between Esawi's guards and the guards of the fugitive Vice-President, Tariq al-Hashimi in conducting the criminal actions where the judicial procedures against them were for judicial purposes and not political ones and not even for electoral ones, as called by some officials," he added.
He called "To form parliamentary committee comprises the representatives of all the political blocs to be acquainted with the legal procedures of the detainees of criminal charges." /End/
