Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Ali al-Timimi, of Ahrar bloc announced that "Ahrar determined to conduct an urgent investigation over the armament contracts concluded with Russia and Czech Republic."
Speaking to All Iraqi News Agency (AIN), he said "Iraq undergoes political crisis among the political partners especially after these contracts which arouse the concerns among them," noting that "These contracts are considered as wasting for the Iraqi money."
It is worth mentioning that Sadr criticized "The armament contracts made by the Government with Russia and Czech Republic," describing these contracts as "Wasting the Iraq money."
He called "The parliament to investigate these contracts."
Earlier, the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, announced that his visit to Russia comes to make contracts for buying weapons for the Iraqi Army and to consolidate the military cooperation between the two countries. /End/
